Over the weekend our church sponsored a benefit for our adoption. Of course I forgot my camera, : ( but i will give you the details. It was a Christian concert. Our daughter Lauren sang one of our favorite songs. Our music director and his daughter sang, as did our preacher, and my cousin Matthew. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. The money raised will go a long way to help support the adoption. It was more than I could have ever imagined! We thank all of you who helped and contributed. Your love for us and for God is unbelievable!
We also showed a video during the adoption benefit that we made (with the help of my cousin, Thank you Matthew!) . We wanted everyone to understand how many more children need help. The video was truly touching and I think everyone was moved.
For this week I will concentrate on trying to clean and organize the house. I am getting a little concerned about the swine flu epidemic. Hopefully it will not affect us.
